It Comes and It Goes
The hill of life lay dead and rotten
Home of the beautiful and forgotten
Burned by the sun and drowned by the rain
Trapped in the soil without love or shame

Half buried alive and left for dead
Their legs feed from the dirt of their bed
Family that lived without their love
Victims of hell that came from above

The rooster crows
Here comes the sun

Sons and daughters of a world that turns
The children of a thousand sunburns
Left to rot in the valley of death
Wilted skeletons are all that's left

What is Fear?
When I got this essay, I thought I knew precisely what I was going to write. I was going to write that fear was the thought that you were going to die any moment. But then I thought that wasn't true. Fear isn't a direct feeling or thought. It's a mosaic of feelings and thoughts, which create the ultimate confusion. But how do you explain that in 800-1200 words? I guess the best way to show someone is to share a personal experience.

A current whistles like the choir
Aluminum birds fly by wire
Hearts beating under wings of white
The manmade star shining in flight

Aerodynamic hollow sky stone
The all-seeing-eye that spy's alone
Flying car with a bird's-eye-view
Caked between two layers of blue

Rise, Rise, Airplane Rise
From all hands, to the skies

The God of winds sees blasphemy
Unholy manmade tragedy
A metal splinter in the sky
Mankind was never meant to fly

Two stones taken from the heavens
Are cast into turning engines
Marks the stone bird a tragic scar
